Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and participation in webinars and related services provided by Tax Knowledge Hub. By registering for, accessing, or attending any webinar, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Registration and Participation

Participants must complete the registration process using accurate, current, and complete information, and are responsible for updating this information as needed. Certain webinars may require payment of fees at the time of registration, and such fees are non-refundable except as provided in Tax Knowledge Hub’s applicable refund policy or as otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Registration is generally personal to the individual registrant and may not be shared, transferred, or assigned without prior written consent from Tax Knowledge Hub. Tax Knowledge Hub reserves the right to accept or reject any registration and to cancel, reschedule, or modify a webinar where necessary, with reasonable efforts made to notify registered participants.

Webinar Content and Use

Webinar content, including presentations, discussions, examples, and materials, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute tax, legal, accounting, or other professional advice. Participants remain solely responsible for how they use the information and for obtaining independent professional advice before making decisions based on webinar content.

Tax Knowledge Hub does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of webinar content and disclaims any liability for reliance placed on it. Unauthorized recording, copying, screen capturing, rebroadcasting, or distribution of any part of a webinar, including audio, video, slides, and chat, is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized in writing.

Participant Conduct

Participants agree to conduct themselves in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner during webinars, including in audio, video, chat, Q&A, and other interactive features. Harassment, discriminatory remarks, abusive language, disruptive behavior, spamming, or sharing unlawful or infringing content is not permitted and may result in immediate removal from the webinar.

Tax Knowledge Hub may, at its sole discretion and without refund, suspend or terminate a participant’s access to a webinar or related services for violation of these Terms or for conduct that interferes with the experience or safety of others. Where necessary, Tax Knowledge Hub may report unlawful behavior to appropriate authorities or take legal action.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the webinars and related materials, including but not limited to slides, handouts, recordings, graphics, trademarks, and logos, are owned by Tax Knowledge Hub or its licensors. Except for limited personal use to attend and review the webinar, no rights are granted to participants to reproduce, adapt, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any webinar content without prior written permission.

Any materials made available for download are licensed only for the registrant’s internal, non-commercial use and may not be shared externally or republished. Participants who submit questions, comments, or other contributions during the webinar grant Tax Knowledge Hub a non-exclusive right to use such contributions for quality, training, and promotional purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws.

Technical Requirements and Issues

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment, software, and internet connection to access the webinar platform and view or listen to content. Tax Knowledge Hub is not responsible for failures to attend or interruptions caused by a participant’s hardware, software, network limitations, or firewall settings.

Tax Knowledge Hub endeavors to provide a reliable and continuous webinar experience but does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation, as availability may be affected by maintenance, third-party services, or events beyond its control. In the event of significant technical issues attributable to Tax Knowledge Hub that materially impact the webinar, remedies, if any, will be handled in accordance with the applicable refund or rescheduling policies.

Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during registration and participation is processed in accordance with the Tax Knowledge Hub Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the services, participants consent to the collection, use, and sharing of their information as described in the Privacy Policy, including the use of third-party webinar and payment platforms.

Webinars may be recorded for quality, archival, or on-demand viewing purposes, and participants’ names, images, voices, and contributions may be captured as part of such recordings where applicable and allowed by law. Details on how recordings are used and retained are further described in the Privacy Policy and related notices.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tax Knowledge Hub and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with participation in a webinar or use of related services. Any direct liability of Tax Knowledge Hub, if established, shall be limited to the amount of fees actually paid by the participant for the affected webinar, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or intentional misconduct. Participants remain responsible for complying with their own professional and regulatory obligations and for verifying how webinar content applies to their specific circumstances.

Modifications, Cancellation, and Governing Law

Tax Knowledge Hub reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time, with changes becoming effective upon posting on the website or notifying participants through reasonable means. Continued use of the services or participation in webinars after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, so participants should review them periodically.

Tax Knowledge Hub may cancel, postpone, or change the format, speakers, or content of a webinar when necessary, and will make reasonable efforts to inform registered participants and provide applicable remedies consistent with its refund or rescheduling policies. The interpretation and enforcement of these Terms, including any disputes arising from them, will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction specified on the Tax Knowledge Hub website or registration materials, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
