Description:

IRS e-Services is a secure, web-based suite of tools that enables tax professionals, reporting agents, mortgage industry participants, payers, and other authorized users to complete transactions efficiently with the IRS. These tools reduce reliance on phone support—often impacted by long wait times—by providing faster, more direct access to critical information.

As regular interaction with the IRS is a core part of tax practice, mastering e-Services has become essential for efficient practice management. Traditional communication methods are increasingly time-consuming and unreliable. In contrast, e-Services offer a streamlined and dependable way to perform due diligence, access taxpayer data, and manage client matters with greater accuracy and speed.

The IRS e-Services platform includes key tools such as the Transcript Delivery System (TDS), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) Matching, e-File Provider Services, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and State Agency Services.

In an environment where IRS procedures continue to evolve, tax professionals must adapt to maintain efficiency and responsiveness. This IRS-approved webinar provides practical guidance on leveraging e-Services to access, analyze, and interpret client information more effectively.
